I'm Lisa, the founder of Nomadic Tans, with over 14 years of experience in spray tanning. My journey began with a personal struggle—developing Vitiligo in my teens led me to search for a natural-looking tan. After working at a chain salon in college, I discovered my passion (and talent!) for spray tanning and eventually started my own mobile business.
Balancing a career in teaching and a growing tanning business, I provided high-quality, in-home spray tans across New Jersey and beyond. As my family grew, I shifted to working from home and later moved to Sparta to raise my kids with a bit more land and nature around us. Though motherhood lead me to step away from teaching, I never let go of my passion for spray tanning—or my clients.
Nomadic Tans has since grown into something bigger than I ever imagined. I now train and empower other women to start their own Nomadic Tans businesses, helping them create flexible, fulfilling careers in spray tanning.
